Shutters
Shutters are the perfect window treatment to give any home a stylish presentation. Shutters are designed to control the amount of light entering a room whilst maintaining the view and privacy.
All Shaderite shutters are custom made to fit most window shapes and sizes including bay windows, angled and round windows. Shutters can be incorporated into any interior or exterior building design; they are also available with motors to adjust blade angles, ideal for use in those hard to reach places such as skylights.
They come in a range of materials including Aluminium, Vinyl (Polyresin) and Timber. They are available in a large choice of standard paint and stained colours, custom colour matching is also available with all our timber shutters. Shutters are available in a variety of configurations including bi-fold, sliding, fixed or hinged, with custom built pelmets available when required.
Aluminium Shutters
Our Aluminium Shutters are tempered to Australian Standards and are low maintenance and weather resistant to withstand the harsh Australian climate - perfect for external use. Available in 89mm Louvre blade size, Aluminium allows for a broader range of panel sizes due to its light weight and rigidity of the material. This means the panels can be made wider and higher than other shutters. Aluminium Shutters can also be powder coated to match a variety of colour schemes. They are available in a variety of configurations including bi-fold, sliding, fixed or hinged.
Timber Shutters
Our timber shutters can be manufactured in different materials including Poplar hardwood, Basswood, and Cedar. Available in 64mm, 89mm and 115mm Louvre blade sizes, with a choice of flat or aerofoil blades. They are available in a choice of standard paint and stained colours, custom colour matching is also available with all our timber shutters. They are available in a variety of configurations including bi-fold, sliding, fixed or hinged, with custom built pelmets available when required.
Vinyl Shutters
Vinyl (Polyresin) Shutters are one of the most durable and are constructed from a polyresin guaranteeing they will not to fade, peel or crack and will never need painting. They are moisture resistant, UV stabilised and have fire retardant properties. Constructed from a Polyresin, our Vinyl Shutters are durable and very low maintenance. This makes them perfect for all applications whether it is windows and doors, outdoor entertainment areas or room dividers.
Vinyl Shutters are perfect for wet areas such as kitchens and bathrooms where water inevitably will be splashed on to the shutter. Available in 64mm, 89mm and 114mm Louvre blade sizes, with a choice of 4 colours, they are fade resistant and will last a lifetime. They are low maintenance, and are easily removed for cleaning.
